Does Oracle RAC 11.2.0.3 Support for Siebel 8.1?

Since fallen in Oracle's hands, the Siebel CRM has not grown much.  Even Windows 8 was out for quite some time, Siebel Tools is not even officially supported with Windows 7; the out-of-service Windows XP is the standard platform.  As for backend database, Siebel 8.1.1.3 works fine with Oracle 11.2.0.2 for a few years.  Now since Oracle 11.2.0.2 is reaching the end of primer security patch and bug fix support in October 2013, we consider upgrade Oracle to newer version.  According Oracle Siebel Support, Oracle 11.2.0.3 RAC is supported with Siebel 8.1.1.3.  Oracle Support staff stated that this confirmation was taken from Oracle’s Product Management.  However, we find no Oracle documentation to specify exact version number match between Oracle database and Siebel.  As explained by Oracle Support staff, “all patch set levels above that are automatically supported, which means that, if it is listed that 11.2.0.1.0 is supported then 11.2.0.2.0 and 11.2.0.3.0 are also supported as these are the patch set levels on the supported base version.”  Taking their words, I'd say yes, Siebel 8.1.1.3 can work with Oracle RAC 8.1.1.3.
